This S.M.A.R.T.™ report features an in-depth look at key advertiser trends, campaign goals, and post-click actions for Entertainment advertisers as compared to the global platform.

Highlights

Entertainment was the third largest vertical on our platform (after Retail and Consumer Goods), and grew 91 percent year-over-year. Within Entertainment, TV Programming advertisers accounted for 27%, followed by Books & Magazines (17%).

 

Of the behavioral audiences targeted by Entertainment advertisers on our platform, Parents, Movie Buffs, and Vacationers are the top engaging.

 

In Q4 of 2012, Motion Picture ad views spiked around holiday movie premieres, including 360 percent on Christmas day. November saw overall greater Motion Picture ad views than December, with average daily growth of 32%.
