This S.M.A.R.T.™ Report features an in-depth look at key advertiser trends, campaign goals, and post-click actions for Restaurant advertisers as compared to the global platform.

Highlights

Telecommunications was the top vertical by spend on our platform in Q1 of 2013. In this same quarter, eight different verticals grew their spend by over 100 percent year-over-year, led by Sports, which grew spend 600 percent.

 

83% of Restaurant campaigns featured a Store Locator or the ability to view a map in their creatives, more than 5x the rate of other advertisers.

 

This use of store locators and maps in creatives by Restaurant advertisers was tied to their most prominent goal of Increasing Foot Traffic to their locations, which was the case for over 80% of all Restaurant campaigns.
